At the end of each year, DAIS students participate in units of study about China. Each grade levels learns about a different element of China's history, culture, or geography.
First studied the gentle movements of Tai Chi
Second grade's unit of study was Rural to Urban. I can't think of a better place to study development of land than LongShan Valley. We could watch it unfold right outside our windows.

All the classes visit each other to celebrate the vast amount of knowledge gained and to share their projects.
