All learning stopped at about 2:30 this afternoon as we rushed to the windows to observe gigantic, fluffy snowflakes gently fall from the sky. We also watched as men put up the flags outside the school in almost white out conditions. The flags come down in the fall and don't usually go back up until spring, so we are all quite curious as to why they were going back up...especially in the middle of a snow storm.
Within two hours we had about four inches of snow. It turned the brown hills around DAIS into a spectacular winter wonderland.
