The Mamas and the Papas may have sung, "all the leaves are brown," but I was screaming, "ALL THE TREES ARE GONE!" Woke up this morning to the sound of tractors working away. There's nothing unusual about this sound here in China, but when I saw what they were doing, I considered it highly unusual! They were taking all my trees away! Digging them up right of the ground, putting them in trucks, and hauling them away. I am so sad that my heart hurts. : (
Then, to add insult to injury, they came in with dump truck after dump truck full of dirt until my view became...
...this! No one has any idea about what's happening either.
Ahhh...only in China.
