Phii Nelly and Phii Bree had a much needed and well deserved day off today and it was Brandi's, Megan's and my job to take full charge of the kids. Everyone was home from school because of the New Year's Eve holiday. Our morning started with milk time. The children line up along the wall in the kitchen and milk is delivered to all. : )
Kaleb, Hanna, and Pauli.

Kaleb, Hanna, and Pauli--I love this shot!

Then it was off to the back porch for craft time. Brandi brought blank puzzle pieces and each child set out to decorate their own mini puzzle with crayons, markers and...yippee...stickers!
Hanna kicking back on Phii Meg and coloring away.
Gomin is the sweetest little guy, full of love and hugs for everyone!
Pauli and his puzzle.
Kaleb is very shy and hides nearly every time the camera comes out.
We then brought out the educational games for some fun learning time.
Peace, Ruth!
"Look Phii Kim! I got a match!"
Brandi brought 3D puzzles for the two older girls for Christmas and Om set out to complete hers this morning with Brandi's help. Om and Brandi soon found out this was no easy task!
Khati at lunch.
Lovable, snuggable Gomin
Megan and Sarina doing the classic "Sarina Face." When we first arrived, we saw this face quite a bit. Now Sarina is all smiles and giggles and this face rarely comes out, only when she's being silly. : )
This is where the guys have spent most of the week.
On the roof of the barn working, working, working.
After our much needed afternoon siesta, it was water play time!
We had relay races. Who can fill up the tubs first?
Matthew, Yotin and Ruth
Om being extra careful not to spill a drop.
Yea! Everybody wins!

Thanks for the ride, Phaan!
Khati's auntie and Om.
Om
Khati...just adorable! Look at those eyes. ; )
Almost dinner time and Brandi and Om are still persevering with the 3D puzzle.
Om puzzled over the puzzle.
Yea! They did it! "Khop khun kha, Phii Brandi!"
"You're the best, Phii Brandi!"
All the people who worked on the puzzle...
BBQ...looking good!
The girls' room.

Just as we were about to sit down for our picnic BBQ,
the heavens opened up and it rained cats and dogs!
Kids having their BBQ picnic in the rain.
Puddles formed in a matter of minutes.
And we ended the day with a beautiful Thai sunset. Whew, I'm pooped! I really have to hand it to Bree and Nelly. It's no easy task running after nine very active children all day!
